The EGR valve is the exhaust gas recirculation valve. If the exhaust gas recirculation valve is broken, the EPC fault light will light up on the dashboard of the vehicle. Specific phenomena are analyzed in two situations.

One: The exhaust gas recirculation valve is stuck in the fully open position and cannot be completely closed. The vehicle will emit black smoke, accompanied by weak acceleration, unstable idling, increased fuel consumption, and insufficient power.

Two: The exhaust gas recirculation valve is stuck in the closed position and cannot be fully opened, which will affect the emission of the vehicle, and the emission of the vehicle will not meet the standard. At this time, if the inspection last year, it is very likely that it will not pass. The exhaust gas recirculation valve is usually located on the right side of the intake manifold, close to the throttle body, and a short metal pipe leading to the exhaust manifold is connected to it.
